Pastor Paul Henschel

The pastor of our church is Pastor Paul Henschel. After growing up in Racine, WI, Paul went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Pastor Paul's passion is to see the transforming work of God happening in people's lives as they grow in their relationship with Him. As a part of that, his goals in ministry here at Grace Community Church are to get people plugged into (1) the community of our church, (2) the Bible through our various Bible studies and services, and (3) the work of ministry, through everyone's active involvement. Those involved in this process experience the joy of being used by God and seeing Him do great things both in and through their lives.

Paul and his wife, Tobi, have been a part of the ministry of Grace Community Church since the summer of 2009. Before coming to serve at GCC, Paul was an intern and then Associate Pastor of Forest Preserve Bible Church in Chicago, IL since the fall of 2004. Paul and Tobi met during their time at Moody Bible Institute and were married in the summer of 2007. They have one child, Caleb, who they welcomed into the world Sept. 20, 2011.
